Interview with a Threesome Lover

Bryan is a 35-year-old banker who maintains an active threesome lifestyle.

NOAH: What happens at your threesomes? Do you have a routine of fave moves, or are you always chasing something new?

BRYAN: I like going in with a plan. But it’s like anything—go in with a plan but feel free to change it up if things are going in a good direction. I like to have a checklist of sorts that I go over with my partners beforehand.

N: Do you prefer FFM or MMF threesomes?

B: Either. Each is so different. Two girls on a guy, two guys on a girl. I can’t pick a favorite.

N: Where do you find your 3sum hookups? Do you go online?

B: Yes and no. My preference is to hook up with regulars. That way I know the deal. But I certainly won’t say no to online hookups because that’s where I met my regulars. Basically I spread my net wide and keep the best catch.

N: What makes the best threesome?

B: That’s tough to pinpoint. I may sound like a broken record but planning ahead makes all the difference. You get the anticipation, and you’re never wondering what to do next. The personalities need to click, too. It’s hard to get into it when you’re not crazy about who you’re with.

N: How do you end up with someone you don’t like?

B: Every first date is a bit of a crap shoot. You try and get someone’s vibe beforehand but, y’know, it doesn’t always work out. That’s why you keep the regular threesomes going.

N: Have you ever had a 3sum go bust?

B: Ya, with a newbie who got jealous because she wasn’t always the focus.

N: Do you still do one-on-ones?

B: Of course! But threesome sex is usually—usually—more intense, and I like that. I generally plan for threesomes, and anything else can fill the gaps in between.

N: Who’s out there having 3sums? What age group, that sort of thing?

B: Everyone! Even the people who would never admit it. It’s obviously a common desire because I meet all sorts of people in their 20s to 50s. Probably older, too. It’s kinda like there are these people who are on the same page and when they get together age is irrelevant.

But keep in mind it’s like anything: just because you share something in common, it doesn’t mean you’re going to get along or be a good match. Time and trial and error will help with that.

N: Advice for newbies?

B: Come prepared with things you want to try so you’re not left bumbling around. And remember that not everyone gets all the attention all the time. So leave your jealousy at the door.
