The Beastie Boys were on to something slick and smart when they wrote “Sabotage.” It speaks to sooooo much human activity, especially in the realm of relationships!

Now I know that men number somewhere around 1 in 4 as far as causes of murder that were because of domestic disputes, like every fourth man in the graveyard is there because he got caught with some other man’s wife, but that’s the most extreme form of revenge for sabotage.
Not all relationships try to go the way of Basic Instinct but enough do to be concerned and wise, where one doesn’t want their relationship to be a cautionary tale to avoid but rather an inspiring example to follow.
That being said, when a lover tries to sabotage a threesome: it’s FRUSTRATING!
Be it over jealousy, insecurity, audacity, family, autonomy, fear of fantasy, or anything else that might make someone feel a way about pursuing something that seemed to be going forward, but actually is taking left turns inexplicably.
People sabotage in all kinds of ways: delayed texts and emails, lack of setting up definitive plans, getting “sick” at the last minute, failing to protect yourself adequately and responsibly, being passive aggressive, and most of all, just being flaky as fuck.
Ghosting on a threesome is a sin that should sideline someone’s sex life for at least two weeks. That’s unconscionable! Just spill your guts if you got issues. The threesome probably won’t happen, but it’s better than it happening and someone not wanting it to happen!
Furthermore, it’s best to know what kind of person would potentially sabotage a sexual experience with you. I’m not saying you may never be intimate with them in the future; I’m just saying you will be more aware of their actual nature, not the part of them that celebrates threesomes… ostensibly in theory.
Actuality is another level.
That’s where you’ll find me… NOT SABOTAGING MY LOVE LIFE!
