Let’s Make a Porno… or Not

A very cool development in modern sexuality between humans—that didn’t exist when I was a teenager exploring porno magazines and watching blurry sex on late-night television via satellite—was the smartphone. On this awesome device, every single person who is having sex can become their own small-time pornographer.

The amount of apps and features on your average modern day phone is stupendous, and there’s nothing more burgeoning in the porn market now than porn made by amateurs doing independent work and (fore)play.

It’s a spectacular thing to watch expand, as people’s inhibitions drop and their desire to explore and capture their own intimate moments increases evermore. But the thing is, the vast majority of the “sex tapes” made on phones are between two people who are just having fun together as a couple.

There’s lots of solo masturbation clips that also sell on various markets and clip stores like OnlyFans and Chaturbate and MyFreeCams, plus whatever else floats your boat, but the core focus of what I want to discuss is the proliferation of porn made on phones between more than two lovers. And one thing that leads to this is… threesome hookups!

Filming a threesome requires 100% consent, and knowledge and awareness of all things by everyone involved—no candid camera action. With three, there are a few new things to consider and to enjoy. For one, there’s the reality that there’s more people to give consent, which is always challenging. And it gets exponentially more complicated with each person you add to the equation—think of how many foursomes and orgies you’ve seen people make!

There’s also the fun option of new people being able to record new angles and new experiences because there are two extra hands available that aren’t usually there in a twosome. You may just want to place the phone down on a tripod and get busy, but that can leave out some of the interaction that people like.

Another thing to consider is the safety of everyone, considering reputations that could be changed with the evidence of a recording. I’m not one to judge, but I also know that some people who are not professional sex workers like me would NOT like to have their sexual experiences be shared with the public, whether its a husband and wife with a third or a foursome at a sex resort!

I’m not a fool, but I’m foolishly convinced that people’s lives don’t have to be ruined by the existence of a sex tape. Only if someone is doing something illegal or immoral on there do they have to worry, so we don’t need to concern ourselves with such affairs!

If you do make a video, who gets copies? Does everyone want one, or do you trust it to one or two people or someone else for some reason? It’s up to you all to decide—everyone who is on the tape. NEVER let your autonomy be taken away from you if you’re on any device having sex. If you consensually agree to recording it, you get to be part of the decision of who is storing it.

And its up to you if you want to put it on the internet or not! Whether on some private place you share or on some public place you love, that’s your choice to make with everyone collectively. Having a private collection is very fun, and is usually the smart choice, all things considered. But that’s on you!

Recording sexy times like a threesome is an unforgettable experience, and is usually a wonderful thing to watch, again and again…

With consent,
Addi Stewart
